We promise you a fast friendly affordable shipping experience via our preferred couriers, The Courier Guy and their locker to locker/ locker to address service, Pudo. All shipped parcels will be sent directly to your supplied business or home address unless you have chosen a locker to locker delivery option.
With Pudo, delivery takes between 1 to 3 days to all major centres nationally. If you are based in Johannesburg or Pretoria & surrounds, parcels are usually delivered comfortably within 1 to 2 days. For urgent deliveries, we do offer an overnight option via The Courier Guy for small to medium purchases such as 1-3 smaller items (eg. suspenders, bowties, jewellery, pendants gears, goggles, gloves, cravats, craft supplies) These items will be placed in an overnight flyer bag and the delivery fee is R135.Delivery within 1-2 days.
Please note overnight deliveries are restricted to major centres nationally and not to outlying areas. For outlying areas please select a Pudo option or The Courier Guy 3-5 day option.

Why a Steampunk Store and what is Steampunk?

In a nutshell, "Steampunk" is a design style inspired by Victorian-era industrialism: a fantasy style that features Industrial technology, specifically powered by steam, reimagined as if it existed in the future.
Elements of steam trains, industrial machinery, metal gears, keys and clocks, time machines hot air balloons, vintage nautical elements are combined with the nostalgia and fine quality and aesthetic of the Victorian era but recreated as if they exist in a future envisioned fantasy world where the old school Steam powered engines still feature.
Having worked extensively in the entertainment, costume and craft industries and after selling my costume store in 2018, I set out to create an online store where fans of Fantasy, Steampunk, Cyberpunk, and Classical Vintage would be able to buy premium quality accessories, arts and craft DIY metal gears, charms and Steampunk embellishment supplies, Arikaburn apparel as well as unique quality gift items all in one store.
SteampunkgearSa also offers a curated range of stylish premium Vintage fashion, Formal Wear accessories including bowties, Suspenders, Cravats,(Ascot ties) and Pocket Watches.
